39 confirmed entities, sorted by threat class. Read the wave preview before every stage and build accordingly — the building is counting on you.
Small, numerous, cheap to kill one at a time — the danger is volume.
“Escaped from the breakroom fridge.”
“Lives behind the server rack.”
“Read an email about synergy. Furious.”
“Looks friendly. Is not friendly.”
“Drawn to the forgotten lunch in the fridge.”
“A gold star that demands recognition.”

“The brand refresh nobody asked for.”
“A single crumb summons two hundred more.”
“Cheap, boxy, and there are always more behind it.”
“Volunteered for this mission. Nobody asked it to.”
Sprints past slow towers. Laser tracks them; splash damage usually lands too late.
“An overcaffeinated intern.”
“The org chart, visualized.”
“Hit the wrong button. Now everyone knows, forever.”
“Fourth espresso. Legs are no longer optional, just fast.”
Wreathed in flame or just plain large. M1 Canon and Water towers hit these hardest.
“From the lobby water feature.”
“Ate the entire vending machine.”
“Consumes budgets whole.”
“From the aquarium in reception.”
“It absorbed the stress.”
“The screensaver escaped.”
“Walked straight out of the whiteboard.”
“Half the employee it used to be.”
“They know a layoff is coming before HR does.”
“Hoards nothing but unread emails and unopened memos.”
Shrugs off most damage. Save Electro and Laser towers for these.

“Approves expenses at its own pace.”
“Small arms from the mailroom.”
“Heavy artillery from upper management.”
“Predates the cloud. Refuses to be backed up.”
“A form that requires the form before it, and after.”
“Reports directly to a manager who reports to no one you've met.”
The Ghost tower is the only real answer — everything else barely scratches them.
“A former employee. Still attends meetings.”
“It haunts the arcade in the basement.”
“Still at the desk long after the lease expired.”
“Left the AC off over the long weekend. Never recovered.”
“It already passed. It's still coming.”
Any of the above can show up carrying one extra trait on a given wave — the job board flags it before the wave starts, and the enemy itself carries a visible tell.
Wrapped in a personal energy shield before its real health even starts taking damage. Burn through the shield first — Laser and Electro cut through it fastest.
Already alight, taking damage over time on its own. Water towers douse it outright; leave it be and it may finish itself off before it reaches the exit.
Bursts into three weaker copies on death, each a fresh chance to leak. Pop it somewhere your towers can clean up the spread, not right next to the exit — letting the original walk past whole costs as many hearts as itself plus all three children combined.
Ignores the maze entirely, flying in a straight line from portal to portal with a visible shadow underneath. Only Bug Spray, Laser, and SloMo can reach it — Bug Spray hits flying Bugs hardest, Laser hits every other flying class hardest, and SloMo's slow field reaches any of them regardless of class, though it deals no damage either way.
Also flying, but it isn't headed for the exit — it beelines for the nearest Laser tower and destroys it on arrival, no refund. Shoot it down first if you can. If there's no Laser anywhere on the map, it just heads for the exit instead, same as any other flier.
Every stage's wave preview tells you what's coming and which class it belongs to. Cross-reference against the Equipment Locker — a maze built entirely of M1 Canons will struggle the moment a Ghost or Armored wave shows up.
